 Graham recently retired after a thirty-five year career with Deloitte & Touche where he served a variety of Life and Property & Casualty insurance and reinsurance companies and branches.
Graham has spoken frequently at workshops and conferences of the Insurance Bureau of Canada, OSFI, Canadian Insurance Accountants Association, Canadian Institute of Actuaries, Life Insurance Institute of Canada, Insurance Accounting and Systems Association and Acumen Information Services on accounting, financial reporting, corporate governance and reinsurance topics. He is an immediate past Chair of the OSFI Insurance Auditors’ Advisory Committee and was an Accounting Advisor to the IBC Financial Affairs Committee for many years. Graham is a past leader of the Deloitte Canada insurance practice and was a member of that firm’s international insurance steering committee.
In addition to his audit responsibilities, Graham was extensively involved in consulting projects within the insurance industry including liquidations, public company financings, due diligence, valuations and company and branch registrations.
